Our client seeks an experienced and detail-oriented Administrative Officer to join their team for a short contract.

You will provide crucial financial and administrative support across the team, handling invoice processing, purchase orders, financial monitoring, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You'll also support recruitment administration, training coordination, and various departmental projects, making this a diverse and engaging role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, validate and process invoices for accuracy and compliance.
- Create, raise and manage purchase orders in accordance with Financial Regulations.
- Track purchase orders, invoices and workflows to ensure timely processing.
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready financial records and filing systems.
- Support submission of purchase and sales invoices through Finance Shared Services.
- Monitor income and expenditure across the organisation.
- Provide administrative support for recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Assist with training administration including attendance logging and coordination.
- Maintain databases, logs, trackers and shared records.
- Liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Draft, format, proofread and quality-check documents and reports.
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas and follow up on actions.
- Uphold confidentiality, integrity and data protection policies at all times.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 5 GCSE's at Grade C or above or equivalent (including English Language).
- Strong financial or administrative experience with proven attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with financial documentation.
- Excellent record-keeping and organisational abilities.
- Understanding of Financial Regulations or ability to learn quickly.
- Professional, discreet and confidential manner.
- Full driving licence preferred.
