Our client seeks an AML Analyst to join their AML Remediation Team.
Role Profile: Reporting to the AML Remediation Team Manager, the role primarily supports the Company's AML/CFT defense by undertaking targeted reviews. The tasks are varied and will give the role holder a good introduction to customer due diligence and AML risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing policies to identify where CDD may be out of date or not meeting current regulatory requirements, contacting clients where necessary.
- Carrying out policy reviews.
- Writing up risk assessments based on output from CDD reviews, open source searches, screening results and transaction history.
- Other remediation tasks / project work as required.
- Raising suspicious activity reports.
- Writing up AML risk assessments.
- Open source searches.
Key skills and experience:
- A basic understanding of the Isle of Man's AML framework (or another jurisdiction such as Hong Kong, Singapore or UAE)
- Using screening software such as World-Check, Dow Jones or Moody's Grid
- Educated to A Level standard or equivalent
- Good communication skills and an eye for detail
