Our client is seeking a motivated Assistant Manager to join their AML/CFT Supervision Division.

You will work alongside experienced professionals to ensure the jurisdiction maintains its exemplary reputation while developing your expertise in AML/CFT supervision within a highly regarded regulatory framework.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing Anti-Money Laundering, Countering the Financing of Terrorism and Proliferation (AML/CFT/CFP) matters to ensure international standards are met.
  • Support the conducting of AML/CFT supervision of regulated and registered entities, including desk-based supervision and supervisory inspections.
  • Assist with the preparation of inspection workbooks, reports, and meeting documentation.
  • Record and analyse data in respect of AML/CFT/CFP supervision activities.
  • Support oversight inspections under beneficial ownership legislation.
  • Contribute to the jurisdiction's response to external AML/CFT evaluations by international authorities.
  • Assist with updates to relevant AML/CFT legislation and guidance materials.
  • Provide outreach to industry and AML/CFT/CFP expertise to other teams.
  • Support enforcement investigations and prepare/deliver training programmes.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, government departments and law enforcement agencies.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
 
Key Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in financial services, compliance, regulatory, risk or audit roles (desirable).
  • Awareness of financial services including designated businesses and associated legislation.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to assimilate complex information and consider associated risks.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage varied workloads and competing priorities.
  • Strong organisational skills including accuracy, attention to detail and record keeping.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Capability to build and maintain working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Professional qualification relevant to financial services (desirable).
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
