Business Development Executive

Our client seeks a Business Executive to join their team on a 2-year fixed term Contract.
Role Profile: You will be a commercially minded and relationship-driven Business Development Executive to drive customer and revenue growth across key UK and Ireland markets. This role will focus on building strong B2B partnerships, supporting sales growth through trade channels, and assisting in the development of B2C products.
You will play a pivotal role in expanding traffic, strengthening services, and sustaining growth across core UK routes..
Key responsibilities include
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with agents, operators, booking organisers, and event partners across the UK, Republic of Ireland, and Northern Ireland.
- Actively network and attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
- Identify and convert B2B opportunities into sellable products that drive customer growth across Larne, Dublin, and UK routes.
- Support the onboarding, training, and ongoing engagement of trade partners.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Manager and to design packaged products, seasonal offers, and event-led promotions.
- Provide market intelligence and partner feedback, working closely with the Marketing team, to inform B2C product development and marketing campaigns.
- Drive inbound travel growth from Ireland while sustaining growth across core UK routes.
- Represent at trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events, working closely with the Marketing team and event staff.
- Deliver regular activity updates and pipeline reporting to the Business Development Manager.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management.
- Strong networking skills and confidence in building external relationships.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to translate partnerships into measurable growth.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Be able to work effectively in a team and independently when required.
- Self-drive and motivation.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Flexibility to travel regularly within the UK and Ireland, including occasional evenings and weekends.
- Experience in travel, tourism, or hospitality (desirable).
- Knowledge of packaged travel products and destination marketing (desirable).
