Client Accounts Administrator

Our client is seeking a skilled Client Accounts Administrator to join their team and manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely delivery of accounting, VAT, tax and payroll obligations whilst providing mentoring support to junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing of purchase and sales invoices for client portfolios.
- Processing and reconciling accounts and resolving queries in a timely manner.
- Maintenance of all accounting records and production of reports as required.
- Inputting bank entries and ensuring bank accounts are reconciled regularly.
- Resolve accounts payable/receivable issues or queries.
- Preparation of VAT returns including all necessary additional reports.
- Preparation of financial statements and management accounts and tax returns for various jurisdictions.
- Preparation of monthly payroll for clients, ensuring all submissions and payments are made by required deadlines.
- Preparation of quarterly returns prior to submission to regulatory bodies.
- Liaising with auditors and providing information as required.
- Ensuring player reconciliations are prepared.
- Maintaining workflow systems and ensuring regular updates.
- Preparing and submitting timesheets in accordance with set deadlines.
- Ensuring all documents are scanned and filed correctly.
- Providing support and training to junior staff members.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Currently working towards an Accountancy Qualification.
- Experience with Quickbooks or another computerised accounts package.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage a portfolio of clients effectively.
- Strong ability to work to deadlines with excellent prioritisation skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
