Our client seeks a File Reviewer to assist their team on a temporary basis.
Role Purpose: To conduct risk-based reviews of client files within an Isle of Man regulated Trust and Corporate Service Provider, ensuring compliance with applicable Isle of Man legislation, regulatory codes, and internal policies, particularly in relation to AML/CFT and client due diligence requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
File Reviews
- Conduct independent, end-to-end reviews of client files on corporate, trust and foundation structures.
- Assess compliance with:
- Isle of Man AML/CFT legislation and Codes
- IOMFSA CSP regulatory framework
- Internal policies and procedures
- Apply sound judgement to determine adequacy of CDD, EDD, and ongoing monitoring.
AML/CFT Risk & Technical Assessment
- Critically review:
- Client risk assessments
- Source of Wealth and Source of Funds evidence
- PEP, sanctions and adverse media screening outcomes
- Challenge insufficient rationale, documentation, or risk mitigants.
- Determine whether Enhanced Due Diligence measures are proportionate and reasonable.
- Identify indicators of potential suspicion and escalate appropriately to the MLRO.
Key Skills & Experience
Essential
- Significant experience in an AML/compliance or file review role within an Isle of Man TCSP
- Strong technical understanding of Isle of Man AML/CFT obligations
- Excellent written communication skills
- Comfortable operating independently in a temporary or project environment
- Attention to detail
Desirable
- Professional compliance qualification (ICA or equivalent)
