Compliance Administrator

Our client seeks a Compliance Administrator to join their team.
 
You will support the Head of Compliance to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and legislative requirements, enabling the continued provision of a strong framework of internal controls and best practice guidance.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Handling queries from members of staff and providing recommendations and / or guidance
  • Review of KYC/CDD received for individuals and / or entities connected to client entities
  • Conducting screening checks and internet searches on individuals and / or entities
  • Confirming KYC/CDD complies with internal policy and procedures and also legal/regulatory requirements
  • Addressing any potential deficiencies with KYC/CDD
  • Client Risk Assessment Reviews
  • PEP screening and enhanced DD activities
  • Assisting with process and procedure drafting
  • Assisting with monitoring activities
  • Assisting with New Business Screening
 
Key Skills & Experience
  • Minimum of 5 passes at GCSE level, including English and mathematics.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good knowledge of compliance and regulatory environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Packages
  • Good working knowledge of offshore trust and corporate structures
  • Good analytical skills
  • Good planning, problem solving and organisation skills
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks accordingly
  • An interest and commitment to on-going professional development and training/ already working towards an ICA accreditation
