Our client seeks a Compliance Administrator to join their team.
You will support the Head of Compliance to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and legislative requirements, enabling the continued provision of a strong framework of internal controls and best practice guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling queries from members of staff and providing recommendations and / or guidance
- Review of KYC/CDD received for individuals and / or entities connected to client entities
- Conducting screening checks and internet searches on individuals and / or entities
- Confirming KYC/CDD complies with internal policy and procedures and also legal/regulatory requirements
- Addressing any potential deficiencies with KYC/CDD
- Client Risk Assessment Reviews
- PEP screening and enhanced DD activities
- Assisting with process and procedure drafting
- Assisting with monitoring activities
- Assisting with New Business Screening
Key Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 5 passes at GCSE level, including English and mathematics.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good knowledge of compliance and regulatory environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Packages
- Good working knowledge of offshore trust and corporate structures
- Good analytical skills
- Good planning, problem solving and organisation skills
- Time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks accordingly
- An interest and commitment to on-going professional development and training/ already working towards an ICA accreditation
