Our client seeks an experienced Credit Manager to join their team.
 
You'll play a pivotal role in originating, structuring, and executing structured debt solutions for Business and Commercial Banking clients. This is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside experienced Relationship Managers, shape deal strategy, and contribute directly to revenue growth in a dynamic, challenging environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:  
  • Accompany Relationship Managers on client visits to identify credit needs early in the deal process, shaping deal strategy upfront to accelerate origination and enhance client value delivery.
  • Apply strong credit analysis and structuring expertise to shape well-structured, risk-aligned proposals, improving deal feasibility and strengthening approval outcomes.
  • Originate and structure debt solutions in partnership with RMs and relevant product heads to drive revenue growth and deepen client relationships.
  • Provide structured debt insights to shape client selection, credit appetite, and development of client engagement strategies.
  • Participate in Business Assessment Committee meetings, negotiations, and structuring discussions to guide viable deal design.
  • Deliver seamless client credit experiences while maintaining focus on portfolio quality and strategic alignment.
 
Key Skills and Experience:
  • First Degree in Business Commerce (essential), Post Graduate Degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years' experience in Business & Commercial Banking with proven track record in credit origination.
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial property lending and corporate/business banking.
  • Strong experience structuring property finance deals and conducting robust credit analysis.
  • Proven experience partnering with Relationship Managers and influencing client outcomes.
  • Exposure to offshore banking environment advantageous.
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent risk management and financial analysis capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills with ability to challenge ideas and convince stakeholders.
