Our client is seeking an Education Administrator to join their team.
This role serves as both the key administrator for Education matters and provides other administrative duties for the office.
The ideal candidate will have experience dealing with members of the public, be extremely organised and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Comprehensive cross-training in both general and education administration will be provided to ensure full coverage during colleague leave or busy periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a professional face of the Company, handling in-person, phone, and email correspondence from Members, the public, and other professionals.
- Ensure the educational offerings are communicated clearly to all relevant parties.
- Assist with education and training-based administration and relationships.
- Assist with the production and distribution of the bi-weekly newsletter to Members.
- Liaise with external contractors, including the provider of the Exam Course and the Exam Board if and when required.
- Be a point of contact for enquiries regarding entry into the profession.
- Assist with the organisation and coordination of the annual Education programme and other events (booking venues, organising catering, sending invitations, collecting responses etc).
- Assist with the organisation, coordination and delivery of the Exam course.
- Provide administration support to the Education Committee, the Executive Assistant and any other Council sub-committees if and when required.
- Attend meetings and training events as required by the Education Committee. Set up and clear away meeting rooms as required.
- Process all applications for entry into the Manx Bar from Articles to Commission and any associated administration.
- Maintain an organised filing system.
- Manage office communications (including phones and emails) and provide seamless cover for colleagues during periods of leave.
- Serve as the primary administrative support for the Education Committee.
- Schedule meetings and appointments for Staff and Council/Committee members.
- Contribute to a highly efficient, secure and compliant operations team by thinking critically about processes and identifying areas for improvement
