Our client seeks a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join their team for a 6-month contract.
This pivotal role involves leading high-performing teams while developing and implementing robust processes, systems and controls throughout the finance function. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving financial strategy and ensuring adherence to the highest financial principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full financial management services to various areas within the organisation through effective team engagement and leadership.
- Develop and implement processes, systems and controls in the finance area to ensure operational excellence.
- Adhere to sound financial principles while implementing and challenging existing financial frameworks across business areas.
- Assume responsibility for finance work streams within various project committees, ensuring all financial impacts are considered and implemented within deadlines.
- Interpret and analyse the impact of business activities on total costs, taking proactive action as required.
- Implement, manage and review commentary for all monthly financial reporting and approve relevant financial reports.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification - essential.
- CIMA qualification preferred but not essential.
- 5-7 years' experience in Finance & Value Management.
- Proven experience in financial or management accounting roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
