Fund Administrator

Our client seeks a Fund Administrator to join their team.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • ​Maintenance of fund accounting and shareholder records in an accurate and timely manner
  • Reconciliation of investment portfolios and bank account balances
  • Preparation of net asset value reports for clients
  • Preparation of annual/interim financial statements
  • Processing of manual and online payment instructions
  • Maintenance of client and investor due diligence records in accordance with AML/CFT legislation
  • Processing investor share dealing instructions
  • Liaising with clients and investors in a professional manner, by telephone and in writing
Key Skills and Experience:
  • 3 A Levels, or 5 GCSEs at grade B or above, or equivalent
  • Previous experience and knowledge in fund administration or accountancy would be beneficial
  • ​Understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
  • Experience with PFS-PAXUS accounting software
  • Understanding of the principles of the AML/CFT Code
  • Knowledge of basic types of investments
  • ​Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • ​External and internal training will be supported and encouraged
  • Good communication, both written and verbal
  • Accuracy and good attention to detail
  • Ability to organise, prioritise and work to customer deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build good relationships with colleagues, clients and third parties
