Our client seeks a Fund Administrator to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of fund accounting and shareholder records in an accurate and timely manner
- Reconciliation of investment portfolios and bank account balances
- Preparation of net asset value reports for clients
- Preparation of annual/interim financial statements
- Processing of manual and online payment instructions
- Maintenance of client and investor due diligence records in accordance with AML/CFT legislation
- Processing investor share dealing instructions
- Liaising with clients and investors in a professional manner, by telephone and in writing
Key Skills and Experience:
- 3 A Levels, or 5 GCSEs at grade B or above, or equivalent
- Previous experience and knowledge in fund administration or accountancy would be beneficial
- Understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
- Experience with PFS-PAXUS accounting software
- Understanding of the principles of the AML/CFT Code
- Knowledge of basic types of investments
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- External and internal training will be supported and encouraged
- Good communication, both written and verbal
- Accuracy and good attention to detail
- Ability to organise, prioritise and work to customer deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills to build good relationships with colleagues, clients and third parties
