Investment Analyst - based in Jersey

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Investment Analyst to join their small, collaborative, and high-performing team in Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, wants to broaden their skills, and is excited by the prospect of using technology, including AI, to enhance processes and support better investment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support investment workgroup meetings, including taking notes and recording action points (using AI where appropriate).
- Participate in fund manager meetings, conferences, and events, ensuring insights are communicated to the wider team.
- Conduct independent investment research and contribute analysis to senior colleagues.
- Maintain key investment records such as asset allocation files, meeting logs, and research summaries.
- Prepare and distribute weekly performance data ahead of review meetings.
- Collate, summarise and distribute investment workgroup notes, action points and scorecards (with AI support where useful).
- Produce weekly summaries covering investment research insights, trading activity, and other key updates.
- Assist with client reporting routines.
- Assist with day-to-day trading activity.
- Provide additional support to trading and operations functions as required.
- Use digital tools to streamline workflows and automate key processes across the team
Key Skills & Experience:
- Level 4 investment qualification, or a willingness to begin study towards one.
- A strong interest in financial markets and investing
- Excellent analytical and/or numerical skills
- A genuine aptitude for new technology, including AI-powered tools
- Strong organisational abilities and a diligent, structured work approach
- A proactive, self-starting attitude with adaptability and initiative
- Solid proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
