IT Engineer
Our Client seeks an IT Engineer to join their team.
Role Profile: You will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing IT infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation of hardware, software, and networks. This position requires a proactive problem-solver with excellent technical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain IT systems, including hardware, software, and networks
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues to minimise downtime
- Provide technical support and guidance to employees across the organisation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address IT-related needs
- Manage and secure company data, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity best practices
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve operational efficiency
- Develop and maintain IT documentation, including system configurations and processes
- Some travel across locations as required
Key Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in technical IT roles
- Relevant Microsoft or academic qualifications would be an advantage
- Good knowledge of Microsoft server (2016 and above) and Active Directory
- Good knowledge of M365 including admin center, Exchange online and intune.
- Good Networking knowledge including vLANs, basic routing and switches
- Knowledge and general awareness of IT security practices
- Basic scripting/automation skills (PowerShell)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to correctly diagnose and fix problems
- Creative thinking to come up with innovate solutions to complex problems
- Effective communication and people skills, with a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
