Due to continued expansion, our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join their Isle of Man operations.
 
Profile:  This role is responsible for managing contract documentation by leading the onboarding process. Including the preparation, coordination and maintenance of contractual agreements, preparation of minutes and resolutions to ensure that statutory records are in place, whilst ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and related documentation ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Act as lead for onboarding of b2b gaming clients: coordinating with departments (sales, compliance, and finance) to collect relevant information and ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Preparation of minutes and resolutions for proper documentation of executed contracts and agreements.
  • Maintaining contract database and tracking systems to ensure up-to-date and accurate records.
  • Support contract negotiation processes by preparing drafts, gathering input, and facilitating review cycles.
  • Monitor contract deadlines, renewal dates, and compliance milestones, proactively alert stakeholders of upcoming actions.
  • Assist in resolving contract-related disputes or issues, escalating complex matters as appropriate.
  • Ensure processes and procedures are followed consistently and recommend improvements for greater efficiency.
  • Generate reports and summaries for management to assist in decision-making.
  • Support audit activities related to contracts and ensure documentation meets company and regulatory standards.
 
Key Skills and Experience
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of a contract lifecycle, management and legal terminology.
  • Direct experience in a legal support or contracts administration role.
  • Experience with b2b onboarding and due diligence.
  • Comfortable around complex and multi-jurisdictional corporate structures.
  • Experience in company secretarial and statutory administration.
  • Proficiency with contract management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and document management systems (desired).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with others.
  • Takes full responsibility for own deliverables and deadlines, independently planning, prioritising and executing work to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.
  • Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong team orientation (including the ability to work well with remote team members)
  • Good problem-solving skills.
