Our client is seeking an experienced Marketing Assistant to join their team.  
   
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a SharePoint-based intranet to keep team members informed and engaged.
  • Draft internal news items, event updates, recognition posts, and employee communications.
  • Update and refresh content on the WordPress website.
  • Ensure all content is accurate, visually appealing, accessible, and optimised for readability.
  • Create, schedule, and post engaging content daily across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Write compelling copy and design supporting visuals.
  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and track performance metrics.
  • Produce on-brand visuals, infographics, and marketing materials using Canva.
  • Edit photos and videos for campaigns, events, and internal communications.
  • Maintain visual consistency across all platforms.
  • Track marketing campaign progress and outcomes, providing insights to the Marketing Manager.
  • Support planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing campaigns.
  • Assist with event promotion, materials, and logistics.
  • Capture photos and videos at events and in-office activities for content.
  • Contribute ideas for marketing campaigns, content strategies, and engagement initiatives.
  • Support minor budget tracking and liaise with external suppliers when needed.
 
Key Skills & Experience:
  • 5 GCSE's or equivalent including English & Maths.
  • CIM qualification or working towards.
  • At least 1-2 years of office or administrative experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Canva, SharePoint, WordPress, and social media platforms.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Desirable:
  • Experience with SEO and analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights).
  • Photography and video editing skills.
  • Basic understanding of branding principles.
