Our client seeks a Marketing Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and execute the performance marketing plan across paid search, paid social, display/programmatic and other relevant digital acquisition channels, aligned to agreed commercial and marketing priorities.
  • Manage campaign setup, targeting, budgets, bidding, conversion tracking, optimisation and performance reporting directly in relevant platforms, progressively bringing suitable activity in-house as capability matures.
  • Optimise marketing investment against clearly defined commercial measures such as cost per acquisition, cost per lead, conversion rate, return on ad spend and other agreed channel KPIs.
  • Use performance data to reallocate spend, audiences and activity rapidly, with a strong test-and-learn approach rather than relying on fixed campaign plans.
  • Own the day-to-day commercial performance and optimisation of consumer websites and other priority customer-facing digital journeys, ensuring content and calls to action remain accurate, current and effective.
  • Lead conversion-rate optimisation across landing pages, online purchase journeys, forms and key digital funnels, using structured experimentation, A/B testing and behavioural insight where appropriate.
  • Partner with the CX Manager to translate Voice of Customer and journey insight into digital improvements, while maintaining clear accountability for digital funnel performance and optimisation.
  • Partner with the CVM Lead and Commercial Managers to activate propositions, offers and lifecycle priorities through digital channels; CVM retains ownership of customer segmentation, triggers, treatment logic and commercial outcome design.
  • Work with the Creative Manager and wider Marketing team to define the asset, copy and landing-page requirements needed to maximise campaign performance, and feed performance learning back into creative development.
  • Work with BI & Data to establish trusted, automated reporting and dashboards for acquisition, website, funnel and campaign performance, reducing manual reporting and ensuring decisions are based on consistent data.
  • Analyse channel, website and journey performance to identify friction, anomalies, underperformance and opportunity, translating insight into clear actions and measurable improvement plans.
  • Manage SEO strategy, tools, reporting and optimisation activity to improve organic visibility, content discoverability and relevant search performance.
  • Develop pragmatic Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) approaches alongside SEO, reflecting changes in customer search and AI-powered discovery behaviour.
  • Use AI-enabled tools to accelerate research, analysis, content variation, optimisation, reporting and hypothesis generation, with appropriate human review and governance.
  • Develop repeatable AI-enabled workflows that increase Marketing throughput, reduce manual effort and support the safe internalisation of activity currently dependent on agencies.
  • Manage digital agency and specialist partner relationships within the role remit, including briefing, prioritisation, performance review, quality challenge and value-for-money assessment.
  • Work with Product/Technology teams and specialist partners to define, prioritise, test and optimise technical website, ecommerce, webform and tracking changes; technical build and platform ownership remain outside Marketing.
  • Support online shop and digital sales effectiveness, including product launches, purchase journeys, service journeys and conversion performance.
  • Monitor changes in digital advertising platforms, privacy, tracking, AI-powered search and customer behaviour and translate relevant developments into practical changes to digital approach.
  • Maintain brand, legal, data protection, copyright, accessibility, security and regulatory standards across digital activity and AI-assisted outputs.
  • Work with the Security Architect to (a) review assets, identify weaknesses and ensure appropriate security is maintained; (b) to ensure the Security strategy is implemented including the integration from within your domain with the security technology and tools.
  • Investigate security alerts and provide incident response within your domain.
  • If/When potential weaknesses, attacks, intrusions, unusual, unauthorised or illegal activity are identified, assist in the implementation of mitigations, including vulnerability management.
  • Understand and comply with the licence, Data Protection Law and other regulatory rules applying to the position.
