Our client seeks an enthusiastic and motivated Part Qualified Accountant, who is looking to build a rewarding career in accountancy within an established practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within a team to manage a diverse client portfolio.
- Assist in preparing financial statements for small and medium sized businesses in line with FRS 102 Section 1A.
- Prepare accounts for self-employed individuals.
- Prepare Isle of Man Company and Personal Tax returns.
- Handle enquiries from Tax Authorities professionally and promptly.
- Review and challenge existing systems and procedures, suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency and client experience.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Part qualified ACA/ACCA status.
- 3 A Levels or equivalent, or 5 GCSEs at grade B or above, or equivalent.
- Experience in accounts preparation from source records.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholder relationships.
- Ideally has experience with CCH and Quickbooks Online.
- Experience with owner-managed businesses is preferred.
- Understanding of Isle of Man Tax legislation and systems (desirable).
- Understanding of UK tax legislation and systems is preferred but not essential.
