Part Time Accounts Assistant

Our client seeks an accurate and professional Accounts Assistant to join their team for 15 hours a week.
 
Key Responsibilities:  
  • Regular reconciliation of the Accounts Payable ledger.
  • Process and issue client invoices in a timely manner.
  • Raise the corresponding payments.  
  • Control of the monthly account statement circular to aid debt collection.
  • Organisation of monthly credit control task of issuing Debtors statements to each client.  
  • Undertaking of basic administrative tasks as required.
  • Provision of support to the Accounting Team with monthly tasks.  
  • Continuous strengthening of processes that ensures timely raising of client invoices.  
 
Key Skills and Experience:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience of bookkeeping or accounts administration.
  • Experience of using Navision would be advantageous.
  • No professional qualifications are required for this role. However, a recognised bookkeeping certification would be advantageous.
  • Confidently navigate Excel, managing spreadsheets, applying formulas and working with data in a clear and practical way.  
  • Comfortable staying on top of deadlines and maintaining well-ordered records.
