Compliance Administrator - (Part-Time 14 - 21 Hours a week)
Our client seeks a diligent and detail-oriented Compliance Administrator to support the compliance framework. You will assist the Head of Compliance and Directors in ensuring that the business meets its statutory, regulatory, and internal governance obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) checks for new and existing clients.
- Conduct periodic reviews of client files to ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.
- Perform screening of clients, beneficial owners, and connected parties.
- Support the identification and escalation of suspicious activity in line with internal procedures.
- Help maintain compliance registers, including breaches, complaints, PEPs, sanctions, and training logs.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority's Regulatory and AML/CFT Frameworks.
- Support thematic reviews, and business risk assessments.
- Contribute to the preparation of compliance reports for the board.
- Assist in drafting, updating and maintaining compliance policies and procedures.
- Help ensure staff are aware of regulatory changes and internal policy updates.
- Respond to internal queries about compliance, CDD requirements, and regulatory obligations.
- Assist with onboarding processes and ongoing monitoring workflows.
- Support the Client Services team in improving data quality within Reverto.
Key Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good understanding of Isle of Man AML/CFT and regulatory expectations.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work with confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade C or above.
Desirable:
- Experience within a TCSP, fiduciary, or financial services environment.
- Familiarity with IOMFSA Rulebook, AML/CFT Code, and relevant legislation.
- Working knowledge of screening tools and Reverto.
- Progress toward a relevant qualification (for example, certificate in regulation, AML or Trust Estate Practitioner).
