Our client seeks an experienced QA Engineer (eWallet & Back Office Systems) to join their team.
 
They are rebuilding their eWallet platform on a modern architecture, covering customer apps and back-office systems. The ideal candidate will be a strong, independent QA Engineer to own quality across internal systems and external integrations, ensuring high standards throughout development, migration, and release.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
  • Development of an automated regression test suite
  • Validate full customer journeys (onboarding, KYC, funding, transfers, withdrawals, reporting).
  • Manage and update configuration settings (e.g. JSON, feature flags, limits) for testing.
  • Log, track, and validate defects with clear evidence and root cause analysis.
  • Support multilingual and localisation testing.
  • Coordinate testing with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Finance, and Support.
  • Lead external partner and integration testing.
  • Support migration testing from legacy to new platforms.
  • Define and enforce quality gates before releases.
  • Ensure proper documentation and release sign-off.
 
Key Skills & Experience:
  • 3+ years' QA experience (preferably in fintech, payments, or financial services).
  • Experience testing transaction-based systems and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end system flows and data validation.
  • Experience with configuration files (e.g. JSON).
  • Solid defect management and reporting skills.
  • Mobile app testing via TestFlight and Google Play tracks.
  • Experience testing multilingual applications.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Click Up, or Azure DevOps.
  • Preferred Experience: Platform migrations, Payment and transaction lifecycle knowledge and API testing (e.g. Postman).
  • Experience within a regulated financial environments would be desirable.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical mindset.
