Our client seeks a Senior AEOI Support Professional to join their team.  
   
You will be a key player in shaping international tax reporting and compliance. This is more than just reporting, you'll drive automation, influence global processes, and act as a trusted advisor on complex AEOI (Automatic Exchange of Information) matters across multiple jurisdictions.

**This role can be based in the Isle of Man, Guernsey or Jersey**  
   
Key Responsibilities:  
  • Ensure that AEOI policies and procedures are implemented in accordance with local and international regulations.
  • Assist with data validation, quality assurance, and reconciliation checks to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Assist with preparing reports, certifications, and other documentation required for AEOI compliance.
  • Assist with the annual AEOI reporting process for FATCA and CRS, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to tax authorities.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of global AEOI regulations and their application to fiduciary services.
  • Be a subject matter expert for AEOI-related queries across the group, providing guidance on complex reporting obligations.
  • Assist with liaison between internal teams (e.g., Compliance, Legal, and Tax) and external stakeholders (e.g., clients, auditors, and tax authorities).
  • Collaborate with client-facing teams to ensure accurate client data collection and reporting.
  • Respond to ad-hoc inquiries from business units about AEOI regulations and reporting.
  • Work with local business units to help drive data quality.
  • Support with developing and delivering training materials and sessions to educate internal stakeholders on AEOI obligations and best practices.
  • Stay updated on evolving AEOI regulations and support continuous learning within the reporting team.
  • Help identify and mitigate risks associated with AEOI reporting, including data inaccuracies, non-compliance, and reporting failures.
  • Help establish and maintain robust internal controls for the AEOI reporting process.
  • Regularly review and help update reporting procedures to adapt to regulatory changes.
 
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Tax, Law, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification.
  • Proven track record in the fiduciary services industry.
  • 3+ years of experience in AEOI reporting, FATCA/CRS compliance, or tax-related roles within financial services or fiduciary services.
  • Experience in technology-driven reporting processes.
  • Familiarity with global tax regulations, particularly in fiduciary contexts.
  • Project and change management experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of AEOI, FATCA, CRS, and other global tax reporting frameworks.
  • Experience with tax reporting software and automation tools (e.g., XML Schema, reporting platforms).
  • Experience in data analytics, manipulation, and validation using Excel or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting systems and standards.
  • Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Strong relationship building skills.
