Our client seeks an experienced Statutory Administrator to join their  Client Services team within a regulated Trust and Corporate Service Provider (TCSP) based in the Isle of Man.
 
Role Profile: This role is primarily responsible for the statutory administration, governance and regulatory filings of a portfolio of Isle of Man trusts and companies (including Companies Acts 1931-2004 and Companies Act 2006 entities). The position requires strong technical knowledge of statutory obligations, deadlines and best practice record-keeping, ensuring all entities remain fully compliant with Isle of Man regulatory and legislative requirements.
 
Key Responsibilities
Statutory & Governance Administration
  • Maintain statutory records for trusts and companies, including registers of members, officers, charges and beneficial ownership, ensuring they are accurate and up to date at all times.
  • Prepare, review and file annual returns and statutory filings with the Isle of Man Companies Registry and other relevant authorities.
  • Ensure statutory deadlines are monitored, diarised and met across the entire portfolio.
  • Draft and maintain board minutes, written resolutions, shareholder resolutions and trustee resolutions in accordance with applicable legislation and constitutional documents.
  • Support entity lifecycle events, including incorporations, amendments, re-registrations, continuations and liquidations.
Regulatory & Compliance Support
  • Ensure compliance with Isle of Man Financial Services Authority requirements as they relate to statutory administration and governance.
  • Support periodic client and entity file reviews, ensuring statutory records and filings are complete and compliant.
  • Assist with regulatory inspections, audits and information requests relating to statutory records.
  • Liaise with internal compliance teams regarding AML/CFT, sanctions and ongoing monitoring requirements impacting statutory records or filings.
Client & Stakeholder Interaction
  • Act as a point of contact for statutory matters with clients, directors, trustees, professional advisers and third-party service providers.
  • Respond to statutory and governance-related enquiries clearly, accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with lawyers, accountants and registrars in respect of statutory changes, filings and confirmations.
Systems, Records & Best Practice
  • Ensure all statutory documents and filings are accurately recorded on internal systems.
  • Maintain orderly statutory files in line with internal policies and regulatory expectations.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance statutory compliance, visibility and efficiency.
 
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential
  • Significant experience in statutory administration within an Isle of Man TCSP, fiduciary or professional services environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Isle of Man company law (Companies Acts 1931-2004 and Companies Act 2006) and trust governance requirements.
  • Proven experience preparing and submitting statutory filings and maintaining statutory registers.
  • High attention to detail with excellent organisational and deadline-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable
  • Experience supporting both trust and corporate statutory matters within complex structures.
  • Familiarity with Isle of Man registry processes and regulatory expectations.
  • Relevant professional qualification or progress toward one (e.g. CGI, STEP or equivalent).
