Our client seeks a Treasury and Accounts Administrator to join their team
Role Profile: You will develop into the role of primary contact for treasury services within the Isle of Man office and across the broader group. Additional duties include general support to the finance team, including bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, expense claim processing, preparation of company and trust management accounts, client file maintenance and other ad hoc requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing UK/IOM and international payments, to include new vendor set-up and call back procedures, entering payment details to the accounting software, account funding, preparation of daily uploads to the banking platforms, liaison with signatories for approval, resolution of queries and completion of end of day procedures to confirm all payments have been successfully processed
- Review of account balances and transactions daily for anomalies and troubleshooting payment issues (such as returned or missing funds)
- Managing credit cards, debit cards and bank accounts, including completion of new applications and general account maintenance
- Administration of multiple banking platforms, including maintenance of mandates, user access rights and related documentation
- Acting as a primary liaison with bank contacts for all banking related matters
- Completion of bank reconciliations, including client and trust accounts
- Bookkeeping and update of accounting records for company and client files
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and ad hoc reports
- Periodic review and update of treasury procedures
- Ensuring compliance with treasury controls, including procedures training for colleagues
- General file maintenance including scanning, filing and archiving
Key Skills and Experience:
- Significant treasury experience (payments, settlements, banking platforms)
- Bookkeeping and accounts team experience preferred but not essential
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and commitment to deadlines
- Proficient in the use of banking platforms
- Numerically confident with strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Accounting software experience preferred but not essential
- Problem-solver with a proactive, team-oriented attitude
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships
- Experience in a corporate service provider, family office, or similar is advantageous
